Hi! I'm sure this has been addressed, but I want to clarify before getting my hopes up!

Throughout the comm you mention Graphics as a way of participating. What I need to know is whether this means just graphic manipulation - eg: manips, banners, icons, wallpapers, things like that. I work mostly with fanart, so that's what I would be providing.

So in a nutshell - does the term graphics include fanart and drawings, or just existing images?

Hi! Thanks for the question! I just want to clarify that you're asking if you can *make* things like drawings and and original art for the graphics challenges, rather than using existing images like screencaps? The answer to that would be yes, definitely.

Most of the graphics challenges are things like making an icon, banner, or wallpaper with a specific theme. If you want to draw something and make an icon/banner/wallpaper from that, that would be totally fine! As long as it fits the theme for the challenge, that's no problem at all. We don't have a lot of people who do that, but if you want to, you're more than welcome.

On the other hand, if you're asking if you can use other people's drawings and fanart to create icons, wallpapers, etc., the answer would be no. Your source material needs to be a raw image from one of the included fandoms or something you created from scratch yourself.
