Those of you who have known me for at least a few years probably know of my long history with young adult novels in the Medieval fantasy realm. I grew up in the early years on Brian Jacques' tales of Redwall (and once could boast I'd read them all, though now it's more like half of them and I'm missing at least four of the books of the realm...)

Tamora Pierce was one of the authors I've looked up to over the years as I've pursued my own writing. I'm so excited to find her around. *g*
