I'm not quite sure what to say about fic. I finished my fic for spn_2_bigbang (squee!!) though I'll be starting revisions and major additions soon... Still have two larger WiP fics to work with so maybe one of those...? But I kinda gotta see how real life interferes and other commitments/responsibilities >_>

I, um... My fandom got away with me, and I no longer have interest in that story. However, I've got a new fandom (and a beta for it), but the only problem is that the massive story I have in mind probably doesn't fit with 'sci-fi' or 'fantasy.' It's a western AU to Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, so it's a fantasy world for them. Does that count? At all? If it doesn't, then I guess I'll see about starting my other plot involving dragons taking over the world in a Fire Emblem semi-AU.

So, yeah... None of the above options fit for me ^^;

It almost looks like a story? Kind of, if you squint? RL has been kicking my butt lately, but I'm not taking Maymester classes, so I'll be able to shape up pretty quickly.

I think I'm at about 4.5k. It's a bit difficult to determine, I write it out by hand and switched letter sizes, so the words per page estimates currently range from 450-950. Plot-wise I think I'm where I want to be, maybe a bit ahead words-wise. After a mayor outline change for the second half, which resulted in a climax at the end instead of wobbling along, nothing new cropped up, so I'm hopeful that I don't write myself into another curveball. If I keep staying ahead, I can drop a chapter our two of the "nothing happens, everybody whines" chapters.
