Mal finished his wave and turned around to see Zoe standing just inside the door. "Sir, we got what we needed from town, and Inara even insisted on a few extras."

"That's good. I think I got what we needed as well," Mal replied carefully.

"They any good?" Zoe

Yeah there will be actual plot relatively soon I swear but I do think at least initially this is more of a character piece. Everybody has to get to know each other after all.

yay, continuation! I did wonder how KAra/Sam crossed over: is it AU, or parallel lives, so thanks for explaining. Nice for them to win each of the Firefly members one by one. I can't wait for them to win over Jayne and Preacher too.

There is an explanation and I will reveal everything eventually but for now it might be best to keep in mind that things may not always be as they appear at first. I do have some exposistion on that planed in the next couple of chapters, though. Of course there some truth here as well just to keep things interesting.
