So this still amuses me...especially because it's very accurate to my knowledge. I fail at American history - unless it's a Civil, Revolutionary, or World War.
lol, right? Although there actually *is* a wiki article...and I read it...and I still don't quite know what happened :P I guess that wasn't a major topic in my American history class, or it was too convoluted for me to remember.
Not a war I know well, but still here I am the history geek thinking about all the things they could have talked about but didn't, lol. I find this a war with fascinating human interest stories, like the burning of Washington and the writing of the Star Spangle Banner.
So...if I ever have a history question I should come to you? :P See, I didn't know any of that stuff happened in this war, that's how bad I am. My brain seriously just takes the info in and then deletes it.
