Yeah...I've grown somewhat used to the 'we're going to induce seizure' style of editing that has become popular over the past year or so...but this thing is absurd. It's almost as if each editor was trying to cram as many flashes/cuts into their 10second sections as possible.

Yeah, there are about 100 different effects going on...in each SECTION. I don't understand how people can even edit that kind of thing without getting a massive headache.

urgh. my eyes hurt. though my biggest complaint is that it makes no sense with the music.

I can like this kind of editing with a lot of stipulations: the right music and tone, only one ship- when it's cut so fast I really only want to focus on two people, and length- 4 minutes of that is insane. see: one of my fav dean/cas vids

though I'm fascinated by anything like this b/c I still can't manage any effects in sony vegas yet. I feel like a monkey trying to pilot a spaceship when I open it.

That one isn't so bad...they at least linger on clips every once in awhile so you don't get whiplash. The thing about fast cuts is that you need to give people a break...it can't be four minutes of non-stop cutting.

Oh, I can't either...but the more I see videos that just go INSANE on effects, the more I'm glad I don't know. My vids are pretty simple but I'm okay with that :P

How many hours did that take to make? If you slowed the video down to real time it would be a two hour movie. *headdesk* I dub it a Mult-Fan Porno. Lots of movement with no plot. *Rubs Brow*

I was going to say Twilight, but... duuuude! This could've been such a good video if they cut out HALF of the effects.

Yeah...it's become hard for me to tell how good someone is these days because half the time whatever they're doing is drowned out by excessive cuts and effects *sigh*
