More Bowie

I don’t think I read an article about Bowie in the 80s that didn’t describe him as a “chameleon”. He embraced change in a way few other people manage. Most of us fear change. Ah, but Bowie's own response to that chameleon description was, "The chameleon is always trying to blend into his surroundings, and I don't think that's exactly what I'm known for." There must be a better term. Can't quite think what it could be, though.

Yeah the chameleon was meant as a bad description of the media's inability to cope with the idea of someone constantly transforming themselves.
