Eeek, I was nodding so enthusiastically at everything u wrote that my neck hurts now lol. AGREE WITH EVERYTHING 100%!!! I'm seeing it again on Tuesday, hopefully with less tears after the certain thing happens so that I can actually concentrate on what happens at the end, I didn't even realize Artoo went with Chewie and Rey to get Luke until I read it here. I was too busy sobbing I guess lol. Now it makes even less sense that Leia didn't join them. 3 'people' go to get her brother, y no Leia? I guess they want to keep the big reunion scene for episode 8? But episode 8 will probably be set a few years after episode 7 so that wouldn't make sense either. Ugh. Maybe JJ just doesnt like Leia -.- Just please don't kill her off, Disney. Imma sue u for emotional abuse if u do -.-

But I really really think (or maybe it's wishful thinking idk) that since episode 7 focussed on Han, episode 8 and 9 will focus on Luke and Leia. Please please please.

P.S. I need a Finn funko now. I hope those exist. He is adorable!!!

Yay for your comment! And sorry about your neck ;) it was fun to flawed. All told probably the best that could be hoped for when something becomes a "franchise".

I thought it was sweet r2 went, and that he'd been mourning Luke but yeah Leia not going makes no sense to me. Especially after everything that just happened I don't think she'd risk not being there! I mean she didn't send the guys to rescue Han without her in Jedi!

I only heard rumours that are about a year old but then I heard that it wasn't a continuation that they were making a Boba Fett movie or something? But I'm guessing that's changed now as this had a lot of unanswered questions they need to deal with still.

But yeah no killing Leia!!!

I definitely want something with Finn but not sure what yet. I really hope he's at the celebration in the summer but I'm guessing he will be.

I forgot the SW celebration was happening next year. Meh. I wanna go. But weekend tickets are sold out. Might go for single tickets when they sell them on January 14. Are u going the whole weekend?

Yeah I bought the weekend one when they went on sale on the chance that it wouldn't suck! It was super cheap compared with the Doctor Who con. (cheaper for all three days than 1 at doctor who I think). Though I'm sure their autos and photos will be more. At least the good part about Captain Phasma having less to do in the film than I was hoping means her prices are likely to be cheaper ;)

I've had zero expectations for quality, and wasn't intending to see it (J. J. Abrams?! Disney?), but have seen all the SW films on the big screen, so will probably regret if I don't. But I really don't like the idea of how Han and Leia are treated, because (even though I lost track of the books) I liked to think that the Expanded Universe had it right, and Han was able to make things work because he cared enough about Leia to do it. And instead... this happens. Bleah. (I'd been hearing rumblings about Han for a while, so am disappointed but not surprised, and Harrison Ford has sounded so done with Han for so long that, again, no surprise ( ... )

Yeah I totally agree. I likewise wasn't even sure I was going to see it in the cinema, but then realised I should if only to not have it spoiled ahead of time. And it was enjoyable, it definitely had its moments. I really liked the new heroes and it was obvious they were trying for more gender equality (even though that did get let down in a couple places) overall it was WAY better than I was expecting. (despite the little mini rants here ( ... )

Here here to the Han and Leia thing...Leia was the first character ever that brought me into the fandom world and had my lesbian heart skip for joy at her strength and skill....and after years, literally 20 years for me, I have waited to see her rise again in the new film and she gets less than 20 minutes air time and some crappy ass storyline with no depth or complexity....she just gives orders and makes the others do the heavy lifting...what happened to Leia who flew threw the air or battled the stormtroopers to save loved ones....and where is Leia's daughter...geez
