[As promised, at five minutes after 4 the next day, Omi knocks on the door with a large vase of yellow camellia blossoms, soft pink azalea, and two stems of bluebells. There is also a small blank envelope tucked into the greenery.]

[And exactly as promised, Naomi is there to answer the door precisely when the boy knocks. Though she had been expecting Omi to bring along flowers, she never would have believed him to be this generous. How can she not chuckle and immediately usher him inside?

With a smile, Naomi calls over her shoulder.] Alice, there's someone here for you!
