[And Rita steps into yet another creepy dream! She's significantly disturbed by the scene; not just because of the obvious eeriness, but because it also reminds her of the awful things she's been seeing and doing in laboratories lately.

Noticing Nemu, she takes a few steps forward. The copies everywhere draw her attention and notes the various stages of completion. It all clicks into place.]

Nemu? So this is...how you were created?

[Nemu's gaze swings over to Rita- and she seems surprisingly lucid, suddenly, as opposed to the somewhat glazed look of before.]

These are the failed experiments that preceded me.

[A gesture to the limp bodies- she knows they're empty. They were never alive in the first place. So why do they feel like corpses to her?]

[The change gives her only mild surprise, though she glances again at the bodies and the tanks longer than she knows she should.]

...So the ones that didn't work out. They weren't alive?

Even I am not alive. I am a shinigami, however falsely created.

[Regardless of the fact that she's naked, Nemu slips off the examination table, gaze drifted to the side]

Neither were they.

The subconscious, which is part of the brain, is worth dismissing?

There is no point to being emotionally compromised by your own dreams.

Mental health and emotional health are still health that can compromise a person without their permission.

I am not meant to be compromised by mental, nor emotional health.

It is lamentable humans are not also created so.
