This is what I have to do to make sure I keep getting tags from a certain someone. And also because chat wanted to see it, and I am a sucker for peer pressure.
See, I'm not good at writing praise, because inevitably, it comes out as a stream of smashtexting love. BUT I WILL TRY FOR YOU, CROW.
So, having not seen the series, I guess it is that now I want to! Your writing is portrayed Arthur's heartache wonderfully, and makes the ending not seem so far-fetched, even for the 20s. Or, so I assume. I think that this is a really lovely little story because I really felt for Arthur and how much his life, well, sucks, apparently. SO I LIKE IT A LOT. :|b
I feel that I should tell you that Arthur doesn't actually spend the rest of the movie breaking down and whoring himself out. But the train and tree scene are straight from the drama. And not far-fetched is what I was aiming for, so yay! I keep wanting to check my historical accuracy with my History teacher, but have t keep the questions to a low, non-suspicious frequency.
Don't forget the cleaning it to wipe it of sin and reinforce his own purity bit; that one's important!
Yay, I'm glad you do! And of course he needs a hug; you made me break him through self-prostitution. And I just realized; I've had him for all of two weeks.
Oh this was gorgeous. I know I just now watched it but I have to admit I am amazed at how well you explore the character. The idea of him losing his faith permanently I find very interesting and you write it well. Not many people, I think, can pull that off realistically.
Thank you very, very much. I'm glad you approve. Maybe one day I'll run with the idea of him losing his faith? Though I feel that, as the username says, it's something that is very much ingrained in his personality.
You're very, very welcome. That would be an interesting concept, an opposite of how he is seen. It is something that's very much ingrained in him, as most things of that nature were at the time and still in many places today.
But views shift and change and people make new ideas that don't always go along with the, well, proper way of thinking.

He's only a hooker if he's getting paid for it.
