Okay, I really finally cracked and did an entire minor character fic.
This would make about 96 pages I've written in a month...*dies*
This fic, is actually so long that it has to be posted in two seperate chunks...*dies again...*
But, this is a (very belated!) Birthday/Christmas/Request fullfillment for
namistai8. This is my definitive word on Yuzuru

And there goes my mind again, off running with ideas. This hulking monolith might have a number of offshoots as well...
The original fic actually ended at part 1...but that was before the plot bunnies attacked and ate me entirely. ~_^U
Ooooooh, rambling.

Did you have to name her after Victor Hugo's daughter? Or did you chose the name after some other character?

But, then again, all the French I know is "I'm a delicious strawberry" and random single word phrases, so I don't know of said website's accuracy. ^^

Crazy, I tell you.
I wondered because you picked such a tragic name. And in the back of my head, I had Tamaki's mother going insane.

Yuzuru is portrayed at least to my mind, perfectly. There's always this fatalistic edge i feel with him that, as a bastard, and removed from the opressive family aura for much of his formative years, Tamaki avoided.
Great so far, moving on in a sec. ^^

The first time I met Yuzuru in the manga, he actually quite shocked me...which is a difficult thing to do. I read his line "I love to see him cry" or something to that effect and immediately thought , "OMG Tamaki's father is the devil!" But yes, Yuzuru can't escape his upbringing and all of the duty forced on him...by the time Tamaki's Grandmother gets to him, Tamaki's ideas on life and his identity are already very much formed whereas Yuzuru's has always been built around family identity and honor and such.
I'm glad you're enjoying it, thus far, I'll probably ramble at you more when you get to the next part! <3
