Where You Want to Go and What You're Running From...

I think, with these two fics, I have both the Eros and the Death Instinct thoroughly covered.

I'm so productive that it kind of scares me...D:

And, because I think it prudent, I'm gonna do one of these for once -

First, Harry Potter with a warning that its a massive spoiler for Half-Blood Prince for dearest kirat et all.

[HP Fic] 'Playing Judas' )

Nooooooo I definitely did NOT cringe horribly.

*SCREAMTACKLEGLOMP*

<333

Poor Snape!! *huggles him* *is hexed*

Hehe. So pretty! *hugs the shiny fic* And LOOK! It's Sirius!! (I really hope that we get to see him pardoned...) And you even put DRACO in there! *glomps Draco* *and Sci again for good measure*

I really really hope this is what was/is going through his (Snape's) head. I will do a Tamaki and cultivate mushrooms and cry in a corner if JKR turns him eviiil in teh Last Book.

But No, I do not believe that Snape is evil. The scene at the end is written with enough ambiguity to warrant that, in my opinion. If you wish to have nerdy literary discussions about the topic….bring it. I definitely believe that it's very possible for JK to have him be good in the end. As you said, it's ambiguous enough to go either way. In my opinions, there are some things that wouldn't fit if he were truly evil ( ... )

*is nearly suffocated by Rae*

And, he is totally going to be good otherwise I will join you in the proverbial Corner of Woe. Sirius belongs everywhere...he needs to be absolutely everywhere to make up for their poor treatment of him in HBP (Sirius...huh? Who was that? Died did you say? Huh? *Sci burns them with laser vision!*)

*Spoilers*

My mother (who reads Harry Potter, plays video games, and is generally awesome) and I have discussed Snape at a length. He has a very strict code of honor and it aligns with what he did...Dumbledore asked him to do it and this would, in turn, secure his status as a very clever double agent. Also, Dumbly had to go...it's Yoda Syndrome, the mentor figure always has really bad odds of survival. But no, Harry has a bad habit of being emo at the wrong time.

But the scene is written very well because you can read Dumbledore's erm, request (oh word choice...) can be read in two ways. But, also think about it, learning what we did about who told Voldy the prophecy, Snape had to have done ( ... )

yeah, here I am, rambling about your work again =P (ooh this post is old)

Firstly, I enjoyed the Severus fic in all it's dark glory and fitting imagery. I still have faith in him, despite how creepy and slimy he may be (and he somehow ends up as one of my favourites in HPverse, next to Sirius and Remus, I suppose...*sigh* Oh Sirius...) and I totally agree with you about the scariness of HP fandom. I can't bring myself to get into all that epic-ness in my writing either (only obscure characters and pairings that were practically non-existent in canon)

about the Ayame fic *loves*. I really like that girl and that entire bit of the manga (maybe because she freakishly reminded me of my psycho-stubborn-perfectionist-phases o_O) and sometimes, I almost see her as what Kyouya would have been like, had he been born a girl XD
at any rate, you captured her quite well--as well as all of Kyouya's mind-numbing brilliance and Tamaki's (sometimes obnoxious) sparkliness <3
