I don't know that Sci has ever written Fuu/Ferio... We were both a bit more Umi/Clef back in the day.

I have never written Fuu and Ferio, actually, despite the fact that both of them originally drew me into the series (the second season I moved onto Umi and Clef...). But I could totally do that.

Actually, I take that back. I've written Ferio in the context of Ferio and Emeraude sibling fic. :)

He stared at the blinking screen. Umi had mentioned something about bird noises that didn't make sense. However, this world also used strange monsters that drank "fool" to move from place to place instead of summoned beasts.

Nothing could be trusted here, it seemed.

Looking around to make sure Umi was not anywhere around to make fun of him if he happened to be wrong about the incantation necessary to activate the mysterious tek-nol-oh-gee.

"Tweeeeeeeeeet!"

He let out his best bird call, but the "ska-reen" remained inert.

Clef frowned and decided that this Twitter magic was definitely beyond him.

Umi winked at Clef from across the room when he saw Lantis stroll in. They both took up their stations to spy on what was going on.

Hikaru, on seeing Lantis in the otherwise empty throne room blushed a deep red hue and then looked around.

"Um...Umi said that someone wanted to meet me here."

Hikaru grabbed hold of her long braid and fiddled with it.

Lantis frowned.

"Interestingly, I got the same message from Master Mage Clef."

Umi and Clef both stifled laughter as both the pair looked awkwardly at each other. Hikaru was the first to break the rather awkward silence.

"I-I-I really wanted to meet you, Lantis! Even though--" she blushed furiously.

In response, Lantis took her into a rather stiff looking embrace.

From across the room, Umi and Clef congratulated one another on a successful start to a devious plan.
