I'm Filipino, so Christmas always begins September 1 for my people no matter what country we're in XD
The fact that there is no Philippine equivalent for Thanksgiving might have something to do with it, but the more important point is that we just really freaking love Christmas (and with good reason, once you see how it's celebrated over there) :D
Also, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova are love- "Once" is one of my favourite films.
Hmmm, I have more than a few Filipino/a friends and they all must be very Americanized. And I love Christmas and accompanying traditions (Europe made me like a kid in a candy shop...I'm still sad I never got to go to German Christmas Markets).
But you'll have to share pictures with me! My family is big on decorations and lights and all (my grandmother has an ARMY of Santas she's put up every year).
I looooove "Once"! If you have itunes the deluxe edition of the new album is totally worth investing in because it has live acoustic versions of most of the "Once" songs. Including Marketa doing "All The Way Down" instead of Glen. :D
YOUR LADY GAGA WAS TOTALLY HAWT. I DIDN'T COMMENT BECAUSE I'VE BEEN CRAZY OR SOMETHING.
Ah! Not the red Chucks! I had those on for my costume. I was a weird crossover between 10th Doctor, 4th Doctor, and 2nd Doctor...I totally had a bowtie! <3
I empathize with your feeling rather claustrophobic regarding the imposition of a holiday that ought not arrive just yet. Apparently next year Halloween shall commence in June. Not particularly heinous, all things considered (little pumpkins add a nice orange punch to every day life, speaking of which I'm quite enjoying your background), the unjust assault of holidays incur the same sentiment as that 60 Minutes clock... pushing your life along before you have the opportunity to enjoy it... And I don't know about you, but I require a certain amount of time to make hand-Turkeys, thankyouverymuch.

I broke in my red Chucks today. Made me think of David Tennant. I miss him. He's my Doctor.
