Man, bad news.

Angel's rookie pitcher Nick Adenhart got killed in a car crash last night.

I've sat by that guy's family in Spring Training. They were wonderful people. My heart goes out to them.

There are no words for such a tragedy.

That is terrible news :(
Even though I don't know the person, it pains my heart to hear a rookie being killed in a car crash...so quick.

It scares me even more because I just saw a boy on a bike almost being run over by a car today. Right in front of me...and it makes things worse because both the guy who tried to run him over (most likely to scare him because that boy was going across on a RED light) and the boy on the bike were both at fault. We can argue because the boy is alive.

There is not much use in arguing once someone is gone...and my heart goes out to his family, too. Tragedy is not such a distant thing...and we take it for granted...
