First and foremost, I am loving your liberal use of British cursing & wandering trees & Muggle mat-sheen-ar-ee(!) & the wonderful chaos that is Sirius Black. Randomly enough though, Peter knowing how to drive made me strangely very happy!
You did a good job with giving us a glimpse of everyone on full-moon night, even if only James managed to have a technically ‘happy’ one, with Peter maybe coming a far second. Which ties in with my thoughts about Sirius-Regulus interactions, and how they will always depress me (such wasted potential *sigh*) but I guess that is how it is and you stayed true to the nature of their dynamic.
Pulling out a quill and some parchment he began "Dear Moony" - because, for all James was like a brother to him, Remus seemed like the only person to whom he could write what he wanted to write. However, after the salutation, it inevitably boiled down to a letter that refused to be written....I know how he feels

Peter is clumsy and prone to motion sickness (I commiserate with him on that second point), but he's got to be cool somewhere to hang out with the big guys

Take your time - it amazes me when someone comments on this (I posted it to 4 comms...woah.)
And I know about summer...last weekend I should have studied for finals and all I could do was sew and watch Doctor Who. And then I was bitten by evil plot bunnies.
But send away - I don't start summer school part II until next Thursday, so I have lots of free time. :)
