Ok I ordered a pair of boots from Amazon, then got an email this morning saying they were out is stock. Lame. Mostly because I can not seem to find a simple knee high, mate black, lace up boot, Non platform. Any ladies out there able to help a sister out on where to go? Don't buy much on line so not sure what are the best sites.

I found four pairs of knee high, black laceup boots on zappos, and most of them look Matte, but I'm guessing there was something about them you didn't like.

If they were over $100 then yes that was the issue. I went through the four pages they had for the under 100 and did not see any. Then again my iPhone screen is rather small. Hehe.

Ok my bad. I need to edit post to say " high heels but not platform". Flats are easy to find. Thank you though.

Try DSW they have a huge selection of boots and they are cheap too.
