I remember when I was younger and I could walk into a cafe and order a short and get only 8 maybe 6 oz. Now it is 12 oz. Come on!!! 12 was the size of a tall.

A starbuck's Venti latte contains about 1/50th of the daily milk production of an average cow.

yeah, these days only Vivace seems to serve the old size on the hill.

Starbucks still has the 8 oz short size. It's never gone away. All you have to do is ask for it.

Word up - a short is still a short. When they grab the tall I say "no, a really short". This humour seems to be lost on them.

I hate starbucks. Their coffee is awful. So them having a 8 oz short that you still have to ask for even after you order a short is lost on me. I love you though, so we have that.

Starbucks coffee tastes like it was filtered through a bag of assholes.

Unfortunately, it's all I got in my neighborhood. There's a place a few doors down that has screwy hours and The Metropolitan whose coffee is actually worse (failing to make better coffee than Starbucks is like failing at failing). Whenever I get drip coffee (all I drink) from Starbucks, I have to have them add a shot of espresso, just to get any taste in it.
