ok this girl is from New York, she preforms on the street and in night clubs..she is amazing..

she hand plucks and uses a bow..she does vox recording loops on the spot and plays over them..

some of her music made me think of Brish..so you need to check this out..

I saw a guy do the same thing last year at the Tracktor Tavern, he was good, but having to get through all those 'laying down' track parts of the song took forever.

ya she only does maybe to or three notes that she loops..so it take about 20 sec maybe..check out the video under sounds like..that song i could hear at lounge night..

Vox is greek for voice.

It's the technical term for recording a voice track.

However, people who say VOX (unless they are writing a sound engineering paper) to my mind sound like twits.

yes well the midi she uses to loop notes that she plays over is called vox...or a midivox..it is the name of the midi player..

i know what vox means..but only because i was really into U2..

though I do agree on the twat thing if one is using it instead of using voice.
