I see what you're saying, but I think you're putting things much too simply than it actual is. *MY* solution would be to change the educational system back to how early Chinese civilizations and schools worked: Instead of teaching and saying, "memorize this as fact," teachers would instead ask the kids what THEY thought. I think assigning homework that asks for the students opinions on certain topics (maybe asking that they talk with their family as well) would be beneficial in terms of learning...and in terms of helping kids in general! I didn't watch that video that you posted, but I read the headline and I think any teacher that says something is "Superstitious Nonsense," should be shot. THEIR opinion is not important and does nothing to help teach the students ANYTHING about religion or science, it just further ingrains what you're talking about with Fox News, etc. = People listen to the loudest person, and the same goes with teachers.
