I went back to the doctor today to have my recent MRI reviewed and to discuss my options. The doctor requested that I take two additional x-rays, one of my knee cap and one of a standing position, so he could get a better view of my knee. Have you discussed PT with your doc? My knees are all kinds of screwed up, but after some PT and keeping with some seemingly silly exercises, I haven't had problems in over 7 years now. A little pain when the weather changes drastically, and flying is uncomfortable, but wow what a difference!

I have discussed it, I'm actually going to get it, and myself, back into shape and try to improve it that way. Thankfully mine hasn't hurt with the exception of falling on it and flaring it up pretty badly. :)

If the problem with your knees is cartilage replacements, there is a new product from a GT professor that is a cartilage replacement. It's called Salubria from his company SaluMedica (www.salumedica.com).

And knowledge is power!

Sadly it isn't an issue with my cartilage, a few years ago I actually did damage to the bone and it never healed correctly. Since then I have dislocated it numerous times and it's currently very rough due to the mistreatment it has endured. Thank you for the information though.
