He likes the wig. It's not something he'll say out loud, though he's a little surprised someone hasn't figured it out with all of the staring he's been doing.
He's at the school for a conference when he sees her heading into the PTA Meeting. He decides to forgo the meeting with the principal (it's not like he really cares what “Do Me for a New Lexus” did or didn't do anyway) and instead observes the PTA Meeting from the doorway.
She's feisty in PTA Meetings. (She's feisty always, he thinks, but particularly when she's surrounded by women.) She snaps at people and her voice raises and lowers in a way that makes his heart beat faster.
“Doug!”
“Hmm?” He's been watching her face for so long he has no idea she's been yelling at him for the last five minutes. “What?”
“Do you need something?”
“No,” He smiles. “Just observing.”
She leaves the podium and comes to the back of the room, hands resting on her hips. “This is a closed meeting.”
“I know. I'm the one that closed the door.”
“Doug...” She takes a step towards him.
“Celia.” He smirks, leaning his face towards hers.
Neither one of them even realizes they're kissing until Nancy clears her throat..
