For Whom the Bell Tolls? It Tolls for Thee.

Sunday was just one of them days...

I tried to sleep in. In fact, I went back to sleep a few times...only to wake up moments later just as groggy so I finally got up. Last week I completed my initial viewing of the second season of 24, so that leaves me with what, four more seasons? ehowton thinks that 24 is too slowly paced. Poor guy. Sometimes I ( Read more... )

Hmm... I don't like being one of the flock who has to read about what your doing. :-P I am spoiled. I'll admit it... I enjoy having you on speed dial with the ability to call and talk to you for hours if I so desire. *frown*

Anyway --

Sorry about the rent thing. :-( And the Credit thing... meh. Well... everything thats going wrong right now I guess. :-( I can't do anything, not really, but meh.

And yet you haven't done so.

Sorry about... I can't do anything
Yes, but as far as liberals are concerned you have done all that you can do by feeling guilty.

Speed dial: I haven't called lately, because I assumed you were busy, at work, or didn't want to talk to me (example: last night I thought you were busy posting. In an effort to be nice, I didn't call though I would have if you hadn't IMed me telling me you were posting).

However, the same could be said for you. :-P You haven't called in quite awhile either.

However, thats sort of neither here nor there.

What I'm doing today: (not that it matters, but on the happenstance that you wish to know... I have hay to bale up at Uncle Ricks (great-uncle who oddly enough is only about 8 yrs older then mom...). Did it yesterday, have to do it again today. (don't gotta leave till 1:00-1:30) Blah ( ... )

Speed Dial
You're the one who is all concerned about me, not the other way around. It's your call to make.

hay
great!

Liberal
Yes, it will be too late by the time you are there.

Bug? I haven't heard of this.

Oceans 11 I adored. Oceans 12 - not so much. It's like the whole chemistry was thrown out of balance. But I have high hopes for Oceans 13.

You're writing a script? Awesome!

I cannot say enough good things about Netflix. I only dropped because I never seemed to have the time to watch the movies, and I was up to over 100 in my queue.

Bug

I'll see Ocean's 13 when it comes out on DVD

I think so too. I have many scrips/ideas simmering on the back burner, but yes, there is one in the forefront (though I just discovered I have a lot of research to do).

Netflix
I don't have the money, time is limited, but at this point (provided I don't get a third job) I can still find time for a movie. I just get less sleep.

ehowton thinks that 24 is too slowly paced. Poor guy. Sometimes I wonder if he has to put in earplugs to come up with a cohesive thought, else the wind turning the turbines in his brain would just flow in one side and out the other.

Remind me to accuse you of the same thing everytime I come across something I enjoy that you do not.

Yes! A lot of people like 24. Prolly wouldn't be on the air otherwise, huh?

That is not the point. The point was I was illustrating absurdity by being absurd. You however are like the mule who gets stuck in the rut.

The whole Ocean's franchise and I have an odd history. While I did catch the very last show at the local theater of Ocean's Twelve, I have watched both exclusively on DVD and intend to do the same with the third.

I've not seen any of the remakes and can only assume they're dried pieces of shit as compared to the original.

I wouldn't know as I have not seen the original. I think that each franchise has it's own thing going for it just by looking at the cast.

Perhaps. I don't know, as I haven't seen the remakes, but in speaking with people who have seen both, I won't be wasting my time on them.

I guess I'm going to have to start explaining to everyone what LJ-cuts are used for again.

schpydurx June 15 2007, 19:39:34 UTC
I would have used one, but there was nothing to cut. I did, however, consider putting a blank cut at the bottom of the post.

I see several GREAT cut options. The first of which is your first, single-line paragraph.

*shrugs*

I suppose you're right. I could have surrounded that single sentence paragraph with the follwing cut text:

Sunday was just one of them days...

That was a great article.
