Hell, this isn't even my Life with Mini post nor the Favorite Things post that I have been wanting to post for so long. No, this is about a dream come true ( Read more... )

I've decided that I hate you and ehowton equally since you both have the same seemingly, allergic reaction to lj-cuts.

I almost cut this, but I just couldn't. The thing had to flow with my adrenalin. You don't stop mid-way through for politeness' sake.

This is the most level-headed, sane, and logical answer I've ever heard you give anyone, ever.

I feel released,
Bad times deeceased,
My confidence has increased,
Reality is here!

Something completely disassociated from the avatar I used when I quoted that.

Hey Buddy -
Sorry about earlier. I know you were trying to stress to me just how excited you were about this trip... I simply was having a selfish "moment" and was just bouncing off the walls with the excitement from getting the laptop.

Trust me; I'm just as thrilled about this as you are... just may be one of those things that you just may or may not be able to "tell".

*hugs round the neck*

Took the LT to Grams... let her listen to some of the music. We got to the Hymns, etc... and she started hearing stuff she hadn't heard in years... so she ended up crying and told me to tell you, "Thank you; for being willing to send my great-grand daughter this computer. I don't understand how it works... but something as wonderful as hearing these songs after so many years... is just beyond my comprehension right now" (yes I paraphrased).

Anyway... I am tired... actually tired doesn't even cover the amount of exhaustion I am currently going through. :-P

I'm curious, which songs in particular did you listen to?

Tell your great-grandmother that I said she's welcome and that it's no problem and that I'd be happy to do anything for her in the future [but alas at this point I only take cash :( ] Thank you for sharing this story.

I knew you were thrilled about the laptop and I know you're happy for me. I never said that you weren't. Btw, I still haven't been to sleep as we approach the 41 hour mark.

41 hours without sleep: Why haven't slept?? I am curious about this since it makes no logical sense to me... however as you well know, many times your actions do not make sense to me since we function on two very different wave lengths.

And I quote from the post:

I didn't get a wink of sleep last night. I just kept tossing and turning. I don't know if it was all of the caffeine and sugar, the anticipation of going and finding out that I can go or the combination thereof.

I think you fail to see the point I was making.

I was concerned with image. You see, if I cary the unabridged Count of Monte Cristo with me, I will appear more studious. However, if I take a break from the classics and bring Mossflower, I can enjoy a nice easy read between behemoths.

Ah...I see. Go for appearing more studious.

Now that my seceret is out, I could take them both and confound them by making them think I just read all the time.

I'm watching Aviator at the moment. Have you bought your ticket yet?
