So, I've had a few people request a guide on how I use textures. Here's just a small[ish] simple introduction to textures, and the different sorts of effects you can achieve with them.

Oooooh. This is extremely helpful. Unfortunately, it's not really useful to me right now, but I shall add it to memories in case I should acquire photo-editing software in the future (I use Picnik now).

...I LIED. You can still use 'em with Picnik; options are just limited, but THIS IS AMAZING. And your instructions are totally at fault for my trying. I officially love you now. In a strictly platonic way, of course.
