When we dug up the baby lemon tree from the wine barrel we were leaving at the old apartment, we weren't quite sure where to put it at the new house, so we stuck it in a five-gallon bucket with an Aquaglobe, put it in the biggest sunny window, and haven't really gotten around to figuring out where that sunny happy citrus-friendly spot is

The only blossom I will be experiencing at home is my Dracunculis vulgaris.... I do hope the neighbors don't call the police and complain of rotting corpses on my balcony.... But the staggering beauty of the plant and its leaves and flowers is TOTALLY worth the ghastly scent!! Still, I have lemon blossom envy now :P
