Because of all the discussion about baby/kid prompts, I am making a slight rule change.

If you have completed at least ONE BINGO of any kind on your first card, you may request a second card with no baby/kid/pregnancy prompts.

If you have already gotten a second card with baby/kid/pregnancy prompts and absolutely cannot make any bingos without ( Read more... )

Oh that's excellent. It's not so much that I have an issue writing kid prompts, it's just that my card had SO MANY of them. So I could say, complete a horizantal or vertical bingo and be able to ask for a card without kid prompts?

Yes, just make one bingo of any kind on the card you have now and you can get a new card without kid prompts. :)

Wait -- so say on card one I do a horizontal bingo. To play again I would have to request a second card? I thought that if I wanted to keep the card and do another bingo, say, vertical, that would be fine -- as long as I wrote new fics for any squares I'd be using twice?

After you do one bingo, now we have to get a new card? Or did I misunderstand something?

No, you don't HAVE to request a new card after you do one bingo. You can make as many bingos on your first card as you like, but you may NOT request a new card UNTIL you are completely finished with your old one, and IF you request a new card, you will not be allowed to keep playing your old one.

Thank the gods! Can I just kiss who ever's bright idea this was! The blasted baby/kid/preg prompts are blocking me all over, lol. Yeah, hearing this makes me wanna finish this card so I can get one sans kid-dom. *hugs modly types* Thank you!!!!!

LOL! I was more bummed that I didn't get any pregnancy prompts in my first card. We are definitely a varied lot aren't we? Though, that does make for a more interesting fandom at least!

I personally have loved playing and still have heaps of bunnies jumping around waiting impatiently to be written, so yeah, just wanted to say thanks for organising this it's been AWESOME! :D

I was just wondering what was wrong with the baby/kid/pregnancy prompts since I too have a soft spot for those. :)

They seem to be a "love it or hate it" kind of thing. With over 900 participants we're not going to be able to please everybody, but we mods are trying our best to make the challenge fun and fair for everyone. :)

OK, does "completing a card" mean requesting a new one, or does it mean blackout? If, for instance, I complete a blackout, can I continue to write new fics to fulfill prompts to get extras on that card, or must I request an additional card for any additional bingos after a blackout?

Completing a card means that you have done all the bingos and extras you want to do. Do not request an additional card until you are entirely finished with your first one.
