I don't think they ever gave a canon age for how old Tony was when his parents were killed, but if you take when the novelization of the movie says he was born and the date his parents died in it (December 17th, 1991) then he was 18. So a year after he graduated from MIT basically. If you take the novelization's version of events! And yep it was a car crash and Obie took over till he was 21.

Thanks for this. I was hoping the novelization had gone into it. I will probably go with these ages, as it works nicely for what I'm writing.

WTF, where did the subject line go?

Emma/Charles? I don't think Emma is as vulnerable as Charles likes his women (I always think Moira was an exception to a very skeevy rule), but that would be interesting.

WTF? Where did the subject line go? I use those all the time!

she was hanging out with sebastian shaw and fetching him ice.

and i think i've asked you this before, but where are you getting this skeevy rule? first class: amy (how is she vulnerable?) and moira.

comics: lilandra and amelia (neither vulnerable), jean and gabrielle (vulnerable).

ultimate: relationship with emma and mystique.

WTF? Where did the subject line go? I use those all the time!

You've said everything I was going to. I think Charles' skeeviest relationship is with Jean. Some writers like to push the teacher/student angle. I don't find it effective, personally.

2. I vaguely remember Seperis writing something with Emma/Charles?

Yes, Brooms linked me to it on the DW post. But I want morrrrreeee!

Curse my love of small pairings.

As much I am all for Charles/Erik, Emma *needs* better fic because she got so well and truly shafted in the movie.
...also, Charles/Emma is interesting. Hmmm.

At this point I'm more interested in Charles/Emma than Charles/Erik, because it's the new frontier, you know?
