I'm back from holiday and slowly catching up on things. How are all you fine people?

I was in the Dominican for a family thing and while it was nice, I don't think I'd do the all inclusive tropical thing again. Hiking > lying on the beach, sorry.

Welcome back!

That isn't my ideal sort of vacation, either. I've done it in Mexico when I was a teenager with la familia and imho it's pretty boring. I'd rather see cities and museums and historical sites.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing. In the future, when I invite her to my seaside manor, I'll be sure to position a StairMaster and a bag of mosquitoes by the lounge chairs so she can 'enjoy' herself.

I'm a fan of both, though hiking is definitely more fun(beaches get a little old when you've pretty much always lived not far from one).

Beaches are nice when swimming is a possibility, but hiking is good too.
