I'm reading a truly godawful Harry Potter story. Full on Snapologia, complete with Suffering Slytherin backstory and my god. MY GOD. I want to rewrite scenes so badly. Not to say that Sanpe isn't incredibly broken and childish, but unless James or Sirius are involved, you can count on him to give a good showing. And be an absolute asshole throughout. :D

I don't know... I just got sucked in. It was one of those revisionist history stories, which can be fun if done well. I mean, I'd love to do a story where Snape and the Marauders met different ends. But come on, Snape is horrible. IT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF HIS CHARACTER.

Yes, *horrible* yet he's a hero and kind of awesome. It's *great*!
(I like the contrast to Dumbledore, who is the big shot hero, yet does quite a lot of shitty things to win.)
