I hate you so much for putting those in my head.

Especially for 2 & 3.

*dies of curiosity*

Sookie could receive training from Jean!

Just imagine Steph paying Snape a visit. :)

Yeah, but Sookie trained by Jean would be all serious and supportive. Sookie trained by Emma would be *hilarious*.

Sookie would constantly think bad shit about Emma and she'd respond all snooty & condescending and Sookie would think more bad shit about her.
:D

oooooo! Steph and Snape! ...Snape would be almost comforting after Batman?

GENIUS. Sookie/Emma (gen or femslash, I don't care) fic! Someone write this now.

Also, the more I think about it, the more Steph and Snape sounds like a hilarious idea. Particularly if you add Babs to the mix.

Man, I hear you re: more minority characters jazzypom January 18 2010, 19:20:48 UTC
I'm trying to do a minority character fest (LBGT, poc, physically disabled), but the first order of business is doing a spread sheet, yeah? Marvel wins out more than DC, because DC's universe is kinda whitebread. But I'm hoping to get this finish, beg banners, sit down and write the rules, etc, etc.

For comicsbigbang I'm trying to tell Ultimate Jan's story because out of all the teammates, she has no backstory. So yeah, I'm with you. Like I tell my flist, Tony and Steve will always have people willing and ready to write their stories, so I won't be missed. The same can't be said for characters in 'the other' you know?

I was thinking of signing up and writing the first long Yorick/355 romance, with supporting Allison/Rose. But I'm really busy right now. D:

A minority fest is a good idea. I hope you get it off the ground!

But the writing challenges are thick on the ground right now. I'm doing merry marvels, as well as comics big bang. Manfully resisting the siren song of comicsaubigbang, like, strapping myself to the metaphorical mast, and having blinds on my eyes. I'm trying to get a diary this weekend to sit down and really see what it looks like in terms of time. I'll be thrilled if I even got ten stories though. But I'm doing a spread sheet to get people's brains ticking. It won't be exhaustive, but it will be better than people going, "I can't think of anyone !"

Can't think of anyone? Really? *g* Sad, fandom. Really sad.

If you do the fest, maybe I'll do my Y:TLM story for it!

My main thing is editing and posting all the stories I wrote last year, before and during my protracted no-computer-and-sick-as-hell period. I've got my Cap_Ironman story to edit and post. A Yuletide story. A bunch of others. And I've got my SPN Femslash Fest story to write and post. I'm kind of working backwards at this point. I've made a vow to myself that I won't sign up for anything until I've got all that stuff sent off.
