Invasion of privacy. Yeah, he may have meant it as a joke. But that's actually not far from the truth. It is an invasion of privacy. My secrets shouldn't be forced out of me like this. But if I don't come out with it, what they might be thinking could be even worse. And I worry about what else they may know already.

The apology meant more to me than I ever realized it could mean. Because the truth was... I felt like shit. It seemed like I always upset people simply by being there. And I went up to my room and felt miserable. And started missing the ways things used to be for me. So when you said you didn't mean it... well, it felt goddamn good.

People and their petty problems. All for the American Dream. I guess we really are our own problems.

I guess when I look around at everyone else, I'm not doing so bad myself. I'll probably even figure shit out at the same time. Even while they're the ones currently running around trying to accommodate life.

Sometimes I think, life has kind of sucked for me so far. And then I started thinking about where I'd be if I hadn't walked away from things when I did. Shit, man.
