thanksgiving summary

thanksgiving was good. turkey was good. there was a discouraging absence of canned cranberries because nobody likes them but me. the gravy sucked, and i miss my mother's desperately. karen bought a $25 pumpkin pie that was very good, but not quite good enough to be $25. maybe $20. yeah, it was a $20 kind of pie
