This weekend, akatonbo and I were at ACen, and we spent some time Friday as Klaus and Dorian, respectively. We were amazed that one person actually recognized us! :D

But the point of this post is basically to share the crack that ensued when it came time to take pictures.

Heheh, thanks! We had an awful lot of fun. (Before getting into the proper glare at the petal-strewn bed, Klaus was cracking up.)

Great to see you two had fun in those awesome costumes- the rose petals on the bed and Major's doujinshi searching are priceless~!

Aha! Only one person at the entire con did take our picture besides us, so yeah, that would have had to be you. Unless there were other Eroica cosplayers around and you took their picture and someone else took ours. Hiya! ;) I wondered if you might be on the LJ comms or the eroicafans forum, since it's not exactly a huge fandom...

*falls on the floor laughing* You guys ROCK. Your costumes are perfect (is that a successful wig-lengthening right there? :D), your posing is so canon (and so, so crack and cardioid) and just excellent overall (you guys must have not only dead-on photography skills, but lightning reflexes to set the camera on auto-time and pose so fast?), and omfg the doujinshi, and the mini-story commentaries.

I love run-on sentences cosplay.

Heheh, thanks! I would call it a semi-successful wig lengthening, for the record - one portion of the extensions I put in just would not hold a curl for some reason. It drives me crazy every time I look at the pictures, but hopefully isn't so blatantly wrong to the casual viewer... :/

And the timing wasn't so tough - most of the time, akatonbo was going to be stationary anyway, so I'd use the little preview window to point the camera towards her, leaving enough room for me in the window, then hit the timer and run over. ;) Which is possibly the best way for me to pose anyway, because if I'm just sitting there waiting for the camera to go off, I tend to look stiff. :P
