Eberbach

I, too, have recently been to Eberbach as a part of my Eroica pilgrimage and thought I'd also share some photos here - as you can see, there were boars everywhere in Eberbach (though sadly there was no Major in sight)!! I flew in to Bonn, traveled to Eberbach from there, and then to Hall in Tirol (of the 'James I, the Coin King' fame), Innsbruck,

sure! I live close to a town called Eber*stadt* and there's boars there, too. They also have cranes in Kranichstein and so on. Is it that much of a german thing?

Maybe it is? I can't say for sure! But I find it endearing, in any case :)

Yes, you could not walk down a street in Eberbach and not spot a boar! Very cute! :)

As for the japanese leaflet: when the Eberbach Tourist Center had none of the old ones left (in 2009) they didn`t want to make new ones for the few japanese tourists. They said they need a new translation for the new text and they had no money for it. So I offered to pay the translation on the condition that they still include Klaus in the new leaflet - which they did!

So it was thanks to you that I managed to grab these leaflets with Klaus on them! ;-) Though they did not seem to have updated the bit on the back of the leaflet where it explains about 'From Eroica With Love', as it says the latest volume is 27...
