Thanks a lot for the update. Aoike san mentioned about some varied projects for 2013 in her 12/31 diary (??? thanks to Google Translate!), so please kindly keep us updated when you have further info. Thx again and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

She plans to continue Brother Falco manga for the first months of the year as she is currently working on it. It will appear in January's edition of Princess Gold magazine.

We can normally assume that she will continue Eroica as well? She didn't give more specific details.

It seems the Eroica Memorial Book took a lot of energy and left her drained for the remaining year 2012.

Poor Agent B. He is cute! But yay for the Major! Though I would not have thought that the difference between the Major and Dorian is that enormous.

I would expect Klaus would be more popular than Dorian but not by that much! Also I'm surprised Q got more votes than agent A, and that poor Bonham is not in the top 7 - he's so lovable!

In fact Bonham is tied with Lawrence and Polar Bear with 7 votes, I was also surprised that G is not that popular either, with 6 votes, tied with Conrad the Butler

Q got some popularity because in the untranslated volumes it seems that he is betrayed but redeems himself by turning himself over to NATO, the Major helps him leave the spy world.

I can't believe Bonham is tied with Lawrence - there's no accounting for tastes, that's for sure! And there are some more conspicuous absences too - I would expect Mischa and Volovolonte higher in the rankings. The Japanese readers sure managed to surprise us!

I can see why Klaus would be so popular. In some respects, he's kind of an 'Everyman' character. He's a guy with a recognisable job, who tries hard to do the best by his work and his family and his sense of self. His life is full of frustrations - other people's expectations, the stuff he has to deal with in his work, the people who should be on his side but get in his way, and of course infuriating, interfering thieves. Sure, his work and his experiences are a bit outside what most of us have, but we can still identify with him. Who wouldn't want to see him achieve the things he wants? (And the things he would say he doesn't want, but we know would be good for him ;) )

Besides, he's gorgeous.

I I concur with you- especially the gorgeous part- without that, there's no great manga! (what if Klaus looks like the Chief?- Oops, sorry! Don't shoot me! :-p)

Another good reason could be that Klaus is Dorian's love interest, and since we read the story from Dorian's eyes, the protagonist, but Klaus also has his stories in which we see through his perspective.
