This is a project that I have been working on, in fits and starts, for about 2 years. I decided to go ahead and post it, although I am still working on the "tree" part of the research. Because it is so long, I will be posting it over the next three days, in honor of the Major's birthday.

This is fabulous! I love you... ahm, I mean I am your biggest fan. Ever.
I live in Ziegelhausen/Heidelberg and I knew a lot of the legends around here but you managed to spread it all out like a feast (poor, poor english, but you know what I mean... I hope). I am looking forward very much for the next parts.

Thanks! I didn't know how much other fans know, but it is all scattered so I thought this might help to pull it together.

I'm also familiar with that area - I was an Air Force brat, and my dad was stationed at Sembach, Wiesbaden, and Bonn in the late sixties-early seventies. We did a lot of family trips around Heidelberg, too.
