I've been researching all the suggestions people made of possible new publishers for Eroica. After much digging around, I finally concluded that June Manga was probably our best bet; it was one of the few that doesn't seem to be cutting back and that deals with gay material. Also, perhaps a stupid question, would June Manga or whomever we choose to contact have to translate Eroica from vol. 1? Or simply pick up where CMX left off?
(They'll probably decide that on their own - I know, stupid question)
Btw it's INCREDIBLE to see how much work there's been put into this :D
And understandable. Eroica's important!! Period

I agree, CMX's Eroica is different from the fan-translated Eroica, which was the first I ever read and loved to pieces <3
But I own every copy of the CMX version anyway and adore it. Maybe it's just because it feels so good to 'have' it with me instead of depending on my laptop to read it.
I do hope somewhat fiercely that someone will 'adopt' Eroica.

I don't think they'd retranslate them. What would be really neat is if they got the rights to the translations from CMX, but that might be a bit too much to hope for. *If* they do, I would definitelly buy a new set, though. One of the things I think CMX "did wrong" was the color change after the first couple of books. Heh, and, of course, I'm a collector, so I'd be happy just to have them. Especially with lovely new covers or something. :)
Save Eroica!
