CMX is shutting down and there's nothing we can do about that. We can, however, urge other publishers, ones dedicated to manga, to pick Eroica up and keep it in publication.

I suggest we have a letter-writing campaign, asking a manga publisher to take over translating and publishing Eroica. I would like to suggest Blu Manga, just because they

I'd think Viz myself pretty much because they have a broad scope already and can probably market it a variety of ways.

This sounds good. I always kind of felt that Eroica had lots of marketing potential, but that nothing really was done about it ... :/

I agree completely that we should try something! I'm in! I don't know much
about BLU (though I do own a few titles from them), or any other manga
producer, so will see what others, who know more, will say. I will work as
much as I can, though. :) I don't want to be sent to Alaska, after all. ;)

I don't know enough about manga publishers, but if you decide upon a publisher, I'm also in with letter-writing.

I'm going to ditto the Viz suggestion; they don't do a lot of BL titles, but they're the biggest publisher out there. Failing that, Del Rey (publisher of xxxHOLiC) might be willing to give it a go.

Considering the information in Moselle Green's new post, is Viz still a favorite?

Streamlining that way might also mean that they are serious about staying in business long-term. Of course, they might be less willing to take risks?
