Well, it has taken me forever to get up a post from here in Siena, but here we finally go. Internet access here is more expensive than the states, so it's less of a luxury

Sounds like a postcard. The detail you gave of the churches reminds me of the movie Chocolate. (have you seen it?) Do you attend the mass they have over there on Sundays, do you have your own service, or is there an evangelical group you are working with already in Siena? Well, anyways, it still sounds more exciting than the confines of my little, windowless office. --Marie =)

Yeah, I have seen Chocolat, but it's been a long time. I think the city is a similar idea to that movie.

No, we don't attend mass, although I would like to experience it. We are going to a small non-denominational Bible church in town. I'll write more about it in my next post. We have also been working with GBU, the name for an Intervarsity group here. They have one staff guy here that has been working since December. His name is Simon, he's from London, speaks perfect Italian, and has been a huge help to us. He's very willing to collaborate, it's really cool.

Wow! I SO want to be there right now! i can just picture the city streets(thanks for the details)! Thanks for the encouragement about what God is doing there with you guys and the students. I will be praying for you all and the new believers, God is amazing!
