Started at London College yesterday. It's better than the public school was, but people always look at me funny. I think it's my accent. Or maybe they know I'm not rich like them. That I don't belong there. But it doesn't matter, because I am there and they'll figure out that I deserve to be sooner or later

Whether or not you belong at London College has nothing to do with how much money you have. You passed their tests, and that means you belong more surely than any amount of wealth. I can't deny that there is some racism at the school, but find the right friends and you'll be able to ignore the bigots easily enough. They're usually not so bad, and I'm sure the novelty of a new Russian will wear off for them fairly quickly. It'll be okay, Vassily. And there are always people to talk to if there are any serious problems.
