Caught up!
A photo that I took. Well, I frequently tend to be the unofficially designated photographer, so there were quite a few to choose from, but I settled on this photo, taken last spring break. I went with six friends to Georgia, where Victoria (second from the right) grew up. We were all first year MD/PhD students - one of many examples of how our class is strangely obsessed with each other. It's a good thing we really enjoy each other's company, though, since we'll be together here for the next 7+ years...
Anyway, we stayed in Victoria's family's place on the ocean and spent a week on the beach...twas a perfect break from the first year of med school! This photo was taken on St. Patrick's Day - we went to Savannah for their gaudy and fabulous St. Patrick's Day festivities. After a rather, um, long night the night before (let's just say that some of us might not have been fit to drive when we got up at 6 am), we were on the road by 6:30, all decked out in full green regalia. I love that everyone went along with the ridiculous regalia, which was especially fun that evening when the seven of us traipsed through a grocery store (two hours away, where no one looked like this), and I continued taking pictures wildly...
