For the longest time when I first got X & Y I couldn't listen to this song without crying. It's just so very powerful; I looked it up online to find out that they had written it for Johnny Cash to sing but he died before such a thing could happen...but I feel they did him justice.

And yes, even though for years now I've had my own interpretation of the song, I can't listen to it and not think of WALL-E. Reading over the lyrics again it's almost eerily fitting...

Holy cow, that DOES make me think of WALL*E....O_o It like, fits him to a T. When I get back on later, I'll make sure to check it out, since I've never heard of before.

Come to think of it, Coldplay in general seems to go well with WALL*E. I know of a WALL*E AMV (I don't support illegel downloads of the film, but it was just really well made) that uses "Fix You" by them....and holy cow that video made me cry. D8
