I just have a lot of feelings

 Ugh, you guys, I literally sobbed for about  half an hour last night, because Aang died. I have way too much an attachment to fictional characters. And then I thought about what would happen to Appa when Aang died, and I just sobbed HARDER.

I'm currently working on a two page Avatar fancomic about Katara and Korra. It should be up sometime tonight

Aang isn't dead, not completely. He lives on in the next Avatar.

I'm thinking more of the rest of the Gaang losing Aang.

Katara is what will get me the most. She loves him so much. She spent her time looking up facts about his past life. And if she's alive, how would she cope with Korra? Korra would be Aang, but also very much not him.

I *loooooved* ElfQuest when I was growing up. I still have my trade paperbacks of volumes 1 through...um, I think 7 or 8. Before they went crazy with all the spinoffs.

Late to the party, but...

I think your comic speaks volumes about just how lovely the series is, and how it's easy to get so attached because of how brilliant and amazing it is.

I too had many sads when I thought about Aang dying, but I was also comforted to know that at least Korra would - in a way - be surrounded by friends she already has made.
