Everyone is so butthurt about Aang's decision to let Ozai live - but anyone with a brain would realise that this "mercy" was probably the best punishment that Ozai deserved...

Yeah, it would've felt so wrong to see Aang kill Ozai-- it would've destroyed all of his character development, and completely tainted their victory.

He wasn't one of my favorite at first, though I liked him enough, I kept being distracted by the female characters. But upon rewatch, I fell completely in love. Best lead character ever? Possibly, yes. Not gonna lie: the third scene here always makes me tear up. :'(

Yeah, same here! I was pretty nuetral about him at first, though I liked him, but then after watching it more-- He's definitely one of my top favorites. <3

Aang is such an amazing character, one that doesn't get nearly enough love in the wake of all the shipper wars and wank. I'm glad to see some appreciation for him. He genuinely frightened me in the first season when he went into the Avatar State, but even by then, he'd already won my heart. Aang is, without a doubt, my favorite character. Great scenes to choose!

Aang is already awesome and chill. A few years under Iroh's tutelage and the chill factor will only be measurable in Kelvins.
