I know that some people are upset about the lack of WALL-E love at the Oscars, but honestly, it was about what I was expecting. :/

SO HAVE SOME SQUEE:

1- OMG, WALL-E throwing away the Oscar trophy and getting all excited over a videotape was SO CUTE! Seriously, I squeed like the little fangirl that I am.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the amount of WALL-E love. And they got nommed for best screenplay! I did not know this until it was announced during the ceremony! :)

I have been an Andrew Stanton fangirl ever since I listened to the DVD commentary on Finding Nemo.

AND OMG THE WEVE KISS! The end of the montage was like kiss kiss kiss kiss and I was like "omg they should end with the WEVE kiss" and THEY TOTALLY DID! <3333

OMG yes- Finding Nemo commentary is freaking awesome.

It did! Some people were just upset it didn't win anything else.

But heck, it got nominated for a lot more categories than any other animated film has ever been, so I'm pretty happy, actually.

I was totally watching the Oscars with the cousins and my sweetheart and when they started playing Define Dancing I got this genuine smile on my face and they all started looking at me curiously and since they still haven't seen the film I couldn't explain to them why I was smiling like that.
