I've heard that discussed before - eventually dreaming in a language you've been learning. And also suddenly catching yourself thinking in your non-native language, or realising you've just read something without it registering it's your non-native language. I think I'm quite a way off that though ^__^
I really recommend Duolingo ^__^ It's very, very good at getting you to revise and practise and progress steadily, while never making it feel like a chore. The only drawback is that if you're starting a completely new language, you may have to go elsewhere to find more detailed grammar explanations. But for Dutch at least I've had no difficulty finding what I need online.
