Lol at you thinking that room is dated! My cousin went to Royal Holloway(she graduated in 2002 so not that long ago really) and her first year room was no where near as modern as that lol! Although she did get into Founders in her 3rd year which I think totally made up for it lol, I think her friend must have been in Kingswood in the 3rd year as she was off the main campus too.

Lol, well I know it's not that bad! It's mainly the curtains, I think, haha. It's just compared to the brand new halls they have :D But yes, I know it's not the worst! Although I think the knocked down the worst halls this year! I would have loved to be in Founders, except for that they don't have internet in there! If they had internet, I would love it cos the building is just so amazing!

Errrr, she's in one of the self-catered flats but I do not know what it's called, haha. You'll have to ask her! I think she said it was somewhere behind the Royal Mile :D

It was rather amusing, when we were at Ikea we chose practically the same stuff *rolleyes* We got like the same glasses, mugs, knives, laundry bag...etc, haha! Very amusing, we kept getting our trollies confuuuuuused!

Kingswood! I've just spent eight weeks living at Kingswood, that's where our summer school was! It's about a 25 minute walk from Egham and main campus but I believe there's some kind of bus in term time. I can imagine it being a pain at times but it's a nice campus. Kingswood II halls aren't as dated as they might look in the pictures, the back facing ones are a bit dark but the front facing ones are lovely. The en suite's aren't anything special but having your own bathroom at uni is nice, Kingswood II is a LOT nicer than the standard accommodation, especially B-Block which are twin rooms (and where we have our offices and staffrooms in the summer, I can never imagine those rooms as bedrooms!).

If you'ev got any questions then ask away, I'll try and answer.
