Due to a nasty computer virus, my laptop is presently in the process of being reformatted.  I'll have the articles I promised up tonight.  Tomorrow will be the start of the first short script challenge.

In the meantime, please continue to post your intros in this thread only!  There is also a request for all intros to be posted to that thread only

Thank you! Unfortunately it looks like my laptop won't be fixed until Wednesday night or sometime Thursday. At least I've gotten my old dinosaur of a laptop working enough to respond to comments, questions, and intros here so I won't get too far behind.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. With the community being so new and so much information needing to be discussed and decided upon by the community, the extra posts are pushing the necessary community info posts further down the page.

It's actually more work for me for the community to not be moderated to some degree. By only allowing certain posts to go through, I worry less about upsetting members with a flood of posts that have nothing to do with the community.

I want people to get to know each other and develop friendships but I think people will be given adequate opportunities for that through the moderated posts made here. They can communicate about non-community matters through messages and personal LJs.
